Keith Jacobs

Program Manager

More

Mr. Jacobs is the proverbial poster child of “having been there done that.” As a program manager there is nearly nothing he hasn’t seen or experienced himself. Through having successfully navigated the labyrinth we call a path to sobriety from whence we came; he’s a proven professional in helping others to achieve the same thing. His style and philosophy are in accord with Ubuntu Living hence working together is a logical fit. Mr. Jacobs also began his sobriety in a sober living model so understands both the challenges and advantages of community residential living. In addition to his overall empirical experience and knowledge, in Sobriety Mr. Jacobs has earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Central Oklahoma in Sociology (Substance Abuse Studies) and is a few months away from earning a Masters of the same. He is employed as a drug and alcohol counselor by a Major Nationwide Health Care and Corrections Organization. At Ubuntu, Mr. Jacobs accepts or denies residents to the program, regulates program activities, and monitors the residences. His most critical and essential mission is maintaining resident accountability, action oriented lifestyles, and overall programmed living versus simply a place to bunk. He is your first contact for residency at Ubuntu Living. Last but not least, he is a master and jack of all trades! Whether it is hanging a new door, barbequing for an event, cutting a lawn, professionally and clinically counseling a resident, or holding someone accountable through tough love (former Drill Sergeant); he can get it done. We are so lucky to have him!

She has worked tirelessly toward Criminal Justice Reform over the years and continues that fight daily as she attends conferences, vigils, group discussions, and writes legislation to such an end as well.
